Gathering

Every Sunday, our church family gathers from all over the Scranton area to celebrate the relationship with God that we have through Jesus.  We sing and play music, read and study the Bible together, drink coffee and build relationships, and generally learn about living a life that shouts, “Jesus is awesome.”  It’s kind of like a Jesus party.  We are currently meeting in the Grand Ballroom of the Red Carpet Inn at 320 Franklin St in downtown Scranton.  We meet weekly at 10:30 a.m.

The gathering is a time for us to hear the Bible taught, receive direction from our leaders, and join together in worship.  It's the main way we gather coorporately and expresses our unity as a church.  Whether you’ve been following Jesus for decades or are still trying to figure out if Jesus is the answer you've been looking for, we’d love to have you join us.  We think you’ll find Steamtown is a safe place to explore, make friends, and learn about doing life as Jesus showed us.  We hope you’ll join us.
